The Elijah Muhammad Studies Research Symposium June 24, 2017

This event marks the first ever Elijah Muhammad Studies Research Symposium. This inaugural event will be held on the campus of Prairie View A&M University in Prairie View, Texas on June 24, 2017. The Elijah Muhammad Studies Research Symposium brings scholars together to study Elijah Muhammad teachings from interdisciplinary perspectives. Through comparatively exploring academic fields studied in universities, this project seeks to situate Elijah Muhammad’s teachings as being foundational to groundbreaking research, innovations, and discoveries that are being made across academic disciplines in the 21st century.
